How Will Your Group Get Involved in Community Service?
By Paul | September 6, 2007
In Mt.22:37-40 Jesus tells us that loving neighbors and loving God are really the same commandment. Gen.1:26-27 explains why: Our neighbors are made in God’s image, just as we are, and if we love God, we will love ALL who bear His image! In Mt. 25:31-46, Jesus tells us that we will be judged by our love for neighbors who have nothing to give us in return! In Mt.5:16, Jesus tells us that our good works are how the world sees God and is opened to Him.
