A Community of the Spirit

Dave Dawson continued his series on Life in the Spirit with “the Spirit makes us better than we are” this past Sunday. Some takeaways to pray into your life:
1. We are on display in front of the whole earth. “His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known.” Eph 3: 10-11
2. A Spirit-filled community looks like: (from Acts 2:42-47) They:
- Devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching
- Fellowshipped/ate together
- Prayed
- Were filled with awe of God the Spirit
- Observed wonders
- Experienced community together
- Shared possessions
- Met together regularly
- Had glad, sincere hearts
- Praised God
- Enjoyed harmony with others
- Saw lives transformed
3. Live a life of repentance.
