Questions for Self-Development this Summer
By Paul | June 20, 2007
Summer brings with it a freshness, and hopefully a pace that lends itself more for reflection. As a leader, consider these thought-questions for a deeper relationship with Jesus:
1. If you could start with a clean slate in your key relationships, how would you begin building them into God-glorifying ones that pull out all the stops and settle for nothing short of reconciliation and honor?
2. What does your daily quiet time look like? How much time do you spend in God’s Word? What kind of priority to you assign to it? How can you find ways to rearrange your schedule so that God comes first each day?
3. What does God want you to be doing in service to Him? Will you take a risk and set out to do what you feel deep in your heart God would have you do?
4. How much attention do you pay to your integrity, your character, and your reputation? Would you be willing to suffer personally, professionally, or financially to avoid doing anything that would displease the Lord? Do you commit to being more careful about the life you life and the example you set?
