Make a Soldier’s Day
By Paul | April 26, 2007
It’s an opportunity for all of us in small groups to be generous to our troops overseas. Please let your group know of these items that people can donate for care packages.
Through May 6th We’re collecting the names of spouses and children of Bethel attenders. If you have a spouse or child currently serving overseas please fill out the back of your welcome card or email Jan Sederburg with their name and address.
We will also be sending care packages to chaplains and other military personnel who are not receiving support from anyone.
Donated items can be brought to the church foyer on Sunday, 13th May and 20th May.
If you would like to put together a whole care package you can mark the box on the back of the welcome card and someone will contact you with a soldier’s name.
On Sunday, 3rd June come join us in the hospitality room, after second service (12:40pm), to put together the care packages.
